Michelin has released its 2010 Michelin Guide for New York City. Five New York City restaurants received three Michelin stars. Daniel (newly starred) Jean Georges Le Bernardin Masa Per Se Six restaurants received two Michelin stars. The 42-year-old has a number of Michelin-starred restaurants around the world but he admitted he is a fan of the US chain’s burgers. He said: "They are extraordinary. One of the hospitality industry’s most coveted awards, “Restaurateur of the Year,” was awarded to Edinburgh’s James Thomson, owner and creator of some of the highest-profile restaurants in the city, including the Witchery by the Castle; the Tower, set on the rooftop of the Museum of Scotland; and the Rhubarb.
